That's our main responsibility, keeping children safe from the monsters that prey on them until they're too old to be ideal targets. All that holiday spirit and bringing children presents stuff--that gets more publicity, but it's a preventative measure. And the whole naughty or nice thing? That's complete rubbish that parents invented out of whole cloth. It doesn't matter how they behave; as long as they're on our lists, we're responsible for them.
