She had him there. Poe knew in the nightmare there wasn't anything that can be done but let the events happen, to witness them over again. He's had it happen to him too. But there had to be a different way then let it, there had to be a way out. She wouldn't have to worry about him. Deep down all he wants to do is the right thing, play the hero, keep going. He's used to building trust at this point since being in a place without sound for a couple of months. It's all that he's been doing on day one.

"Okay, you kill him on your own. Then what?" There's a small pause as he throws up an open hand in the air.

"How can we get out of the nightmare so you can stop reliving this?" He noticed the look she had been giving. Poe can't help but have maybe looked for a few seconds at her. It's what he had been so used to doing as a Commander. He knows how to read people, a room, a bridge on a space cruiser.

If they find a way out, he hopes their nightmares don't blend together.
