[ Her eyes had widened in surprise for a moment when she felt her arms go around her; it wasn't like she shouldn't have expected that. Max had always been big on hugs. Hadn't she always loved them to? Rachel had been the first person to give her one in so long, and while it had been nice, it certainly hadn't been the same as this.
