Bear is actually super accurate! Or a duck since he always has kids around him. Fair warning if you use a cat he gets really judgy! >(

I think so. He probably doesn't talk about them for the same reason I don't talk about my family. It's too painful.

RIGHT? I'm a dog person, but cats are really cute. I like them.

he probably misses them. he seems like the kinda dad that'd miss his kids.

do you have a dog? we used to have one, but we gave him away. too much money.

That's what I think too. He kind of reminds me of my dad in a way. He'd probably be adopting all the kids here if he were around. It's kind of a thing Abu does with kids who aren't being taken care of. It's really sweet.

Uh yeah! It's a giant dog who kind of scares everyone, but he's really sweet and protects me! Sorry you couldn't keeps yours. :(((( That happened to my friend Bruno too.

your dad sounds nice. most of my friends' dads just get grouchy when there are a bunch of us kids around. [Aaaaand Will is deliberately going to not mention his own father, not today, No Thank You.]

i like bigger dogs better, i think. they're better for playing with. and they're not so...noisy.

Yeah my dad is the opposite of that. He works a lot, but he's always nice to my friends when they're at our house!

Oh I can tell you big dogs are awesome. :D Lockjaw let me use him as a footrest and bites anyone who tries to hurt me! He's so great.

lockjaw is a really cool name!! makes him sound like a superhero.

Yeah. It helps for the friends who don't have a nice dad too. Like he'll pay for their field trips and stuff. Spoilers: I kind of won the dad lottery even if he's super traditional which totally sucks when you're a girl.

But onto cool stuff! He totally is a superhero. He protected me and some other kids from this crazy guy who attacked us. It was super neat.

Just one really. It's a super sad story. Basically he doesn't have parents anymore except for mine and like his grandma, but she's really sick and poor so he has to take care of her more than she does him. :(

Super traditional mean he wants to pick my husband, stay inside when it's dark out, live with him until I get married; stuff like that. It's not mean or anything. That's just how he thinks I'll stay safe which sucks since I don't want to be safe. I just want to live my life.

But, okay back to that attack story! So pretty much a crazy person thought our school had someone he wanted to smash in it so he attacked. Lockjaw handled it though!

i think parents kinda go overboard when they want their kids to be safe. my mom doesn't let me ride my bike anymore and she wants me to call her whenever i get anywhere safe so she knows. i know it's cause she worries, but it's annoying. she doesn't wanna pick who i get married to, though...maybe that's just a girl thing?

that's REALLY scary. did the guy get arrested or something?

You think so? I feel like I just cause him problems half the time, but I couldn't imagine my life without him. We've been together since second grade!

Definitely a girl thing. But, wow your mom sounds really scared. :((( She should really talk to someone about that or get a bodyguard or something. Is this because something was hurting you??

And yes!! Thank goodness. He won't be hurting anyone for a long time.

i think when you have friends for that long, they're more like your family. so sometimes it's okay to cause problems, cause that's what family does.

yeahhhhh kinda. i was missing for a week last year. it really scared her.

okay, good. i wish there was some sort of police here, in case anyone else tries that kinda stuff.
