EMOJI MEME
![]() ![]() Inspired by a recent question on the FAQ, have an Emoji Meme! Top level with your character. Respond with any emoji(s) that represent your cr. For the first tag or so play with the idea that the devices are stuck on emojis if your character wouldn't necessarily use them. Same rules as last time - all tags can be counted as half a point each on the Silence System. Have fun! |

I like that version better than what I was saying.

Same here.
[ because he was PRETTY SURE SOMEONE WAS CALLING SOMEONE a dinosaur there ]
Someone sure went overboard putting in all these pictures, though. Back home, we had numbered codes.
that's twice in less than a week for me, A+ use of eyeballs
Oh yeah? Like to make messages secret?
ffff
So instead we'd send pager messages. Like '724106', meant 'what're ya doing?'.

How do you read your codes? I'm from 2017, emojis are pretty much everywhere in my time. I could show you more about them if you teach me yours.
[He's curious, sue him.]

You take somethin' you wanna say, and use the names of numbers in Japanese to replace the sounds. 7 is 'nana', so that's 'na'. 2 is 'ni'.
So 'nanishiteru' would be 724106. Some of the numbers got more than one name, so it's a little like a puzzle.

[It'd be cool to understand Japanese beyond just what the devices translate, though.]
If it makes you feel better, we still do that. Using numbers is just faster to type.
