[She's one of those people that has to be kept confined inside a room for awhile before she agrees to shut the hell up. Vanessa doesn't like being told what to do, nor does she like confined spaces or anything resembling imprisonment, but after a long stretch of stubbornness, she finally agrees to their terms.
Keep her mouth shut, and she can leave. Should be easy enough, right?
Wrong.
She's glowering in one of the house living rooms, knees tucked into her chest, avoiding the gaze of anyone who wanders by. It's a miracle she doesn't growl at them, though as the day starts to wear on she realizes more and more that everyone is in the same situation around here, hiding from an enemy that doesn't want to die.
She knows what that's like. Sadly, it doesn't help her trust any of them.]

[Picking up a pet wasn't what she had in mind when she woke up this morning, but that seemed par for the course around here. But when the tiny, cute, pastel green bunny had hopped over to her, even she wasn't heartless enough to not pick it up.
And now it was following her everywhere. Of course.
She peers at it over her shoulder as it hurries to keep up with her, audibly sighing.]
Trust me, little guy. There are way better options than me around here.
